“Who doesn’t love a freshly baked focaccia”
Ingredients for one big focaccia
1kg whole wheat flour
12g dry yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp honey
8 dl water
1 tbsp olive oil (topping)
2 tbsp sea salt (topping)
How to:
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water
In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together
Add the water and honey to the dry mixture, stirring until a sticky dough forms
Cover the bowl and let the dough rest at room temperature for about an hour
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the dough onto it
Use your fingers to create dimples in the surface of the dough
Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt
.Bake in the center of a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes, or until golden brown
