“Who doesn’t love a freshly baked focaccia”

Ingredients for one big focaccia

  • 1kg whole wheat flour

  • 12g dry yeast

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 8 dl water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (topping)

  • 2 tbsp sea salt (topping)


How to:

  • Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water

  • In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together

  • Add the water and honey to the dry mixture, stirring until a sticky dough forms

  • Cover the bowl and let the dough rest at room temperature for about an hour

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the dough onto it

  • Use your fingers to create dimples in the surface of the dough

  • Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt

  • .Bake in the center of a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes, or until golden brown
